Will Lord

Will Lord Will has been involved in flint knapping and prehistoric technology since 1975, when his Parents Val and John Lord became custodians at Grimes Graves, which is a series of group Neolithic flint mines in Thetford forest, Norfolk dating back to 4000 BC. This period of his life was a training ground - you could say they were an unconventional family living in a house in the forest without modern conveniences such a television.

Will is inspired by his relationship with the flint and the song it sings to him, the songs of our ancestors through which he is driven to learn new techniques. Visit Will's website to find out more at http://www.beyond2000bc.co.uk/index.html
